Youth Summer Camp (YSC) is a week-long summer retreat for our middle school and high school students (incoming 7th – HS grads). This year we will return to Pine Valley for a week of singing, preaching, relationship-building, reflection and games. We hope for this to be a welcome retreat from the craziness of life and an unexpected entrance in the presence of God. We hope you can join us this year!

Dates: Sunday, August 2 - Friday, August 7, 2026
Location: Pine Valley Bible Conference Center (8668 Pine Creek Rd, Pine Valley, CA 91962)
Theme: Wonder
Theme Verse: Psalm 8:4 - "What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?"
Speaker: David Park (West Hills Presbyterian Church)
Worship Leader: TBD

We probably don't remember this, but as babies and little children, we all grew up in awe and wonder at everything life had to offer. Most of what our parents did or taught us seemed amazing. As life has gone on and you've matured both in age and knowledge, have you lost your sense of wonder? It is clear that King David, even in his older age, is in awe and wonder of who God is and that God would care for him at all. Even though God is the creator of all things, Lord of the universe, and doesn't need us at all, we see through His character (wrath, mercy, justice, love, etc) and the Gospel that he cares deeply for us, more than anyone else cares for us. It's this kind of wonder that we want to grasp about God, and as we fall deeper in love and wonder of who God is and what He's done for us, it will transform our lives to be more like Christ.
